Oil pan felts

Just got my parts order in from Meyers great people to talk to My car is a 25 4 cyl 12 volt I see where the front and rear felts go but can’t see where the third one would go Any help would be great pictures too. John

There should be four pieces in the felt set. One goes in the nose of the pan to bear on the front engine mount surround, two in the channels at rear which flare out under the block and the fourth is glued with gasket cement between the grooves on the rear main bearing cap.  This one bears against the rear pan baffle. Any oil that manages to get past it is returned to the pan by the pipe in the baffle.

I just received a full gasket set and there are four cork pieces. I asked if the kit had felt seals and the seller supplied two felt seals. Do some kits have felt and other have cork seals? I’d prefer to run felts as I had no leaks with them since the last rebuild 30 years ago.
