Miguelg510
I bought this grill from a guy saying it was from a 1947 Buick super but this can’t be because when I got it the teeth are wider than my original grill teeth. My Buick Super is a 1947 convertible and the teeth are 1 inch wide. I want to post it and sell it but I want to make sure I am listing it as the correct thing. These are 1 1/4 inch wide. Can anyone tell me what Buick this grill is from and possibly what I should ask for pricing? Not sure if I over paid or not. Thank you
g-g-g0
I guessing 53 but there are two different widths of 53 grilles. Specials are smaller than Super/Roadmaster. 2
gdmn852
Hello, I would say early 1950,s definitely not a 46 to 48 or 49 grill. The 49 grills are a two piece setup as far as the “teeth “ are concerned, there is a right and left hand side ,and also the one piece upper bar that fits over the grill to hood. billbuickgs
53 Super , Roadmaster , Skylark .
1953mack
Obviously a 1953 Buick Special 40-Series grille with 23 teeth . . . the 1953 Buick Super 50 Series and Roadmaster 70 series grilles have 25 teeth. My neighbor once told me a long time ago that one of his ex-wife's great-great-grandmas told him that her husband came up with the "All I Want For Christmas Is Two More Front Teeth" song idea because he could only afford a 1953 Buick 46C Special convertible and not the 1953 Roadmaster Skylark 76X convertible.
