1965-1974 MOPAR Moulding ID???

Hello,

I have a MOPAR exterior moulding of some sort that I got in an NOS parts stash.  Unfortunately, it has no part number.  It did come in a paper wrapper that says Chrysler, copyright 1973.  I will assume that maybe it would fit a car back to 1965, but the part appears to have been made in 1973 (and would fit many 1974 MOPARS as well).  An ideas on what it fits?  Thanks for any help.

Thanks.  I can't match it up to 67-8 Ply so far.  Other friends think more like early 70's now.  Has a black solid plastic insert in the middle, if that helps anyone.  Could be MOPAR truck or van too, I guess.

I wish you well and hope you can figure out the correct application for your moulding. Trying to identify trim that has no numbers or markings on it can be a frustrating process.       Problem: a few hundred unmarked unidentified "clueless" NOS stainless & aluminum mouldings have accumulated in my storage building over the years, they've been up in the rafters & propped up against the wall. They have no distinctive size or shape, I'm tired of looking at them and now I want them GONE. I've tried to ID some of them by looking on the internet, Ebay, pictures of cars, junkyards, car shows, etc. I come close sometimes but they're always an inch too long, 2 inches too short, not enough lines in them or maybe the ends aren't quite right. After awhile they all start to look alike. I figure I've stored them long enough & I've wasted enough of my time on them.           Solution: Take some to the next swap meet to display on my $5 space. If that doesn't work mark everything down to $1 the last day of the show. If I still have them after lunch I take several bundles around to drop off at different trash cans and that way they ALWAYS find a new home. Now the next guy can figure it out. Problem solved, I'm much happier now and I have more room in my building. Your results may vary.
