Ken Richmond
I am asking for help specifically: - - Bed Size: 8 feet or 9 feet? - Style: Coupe Express vs K10 Fast Express? Are the beds interchangeable? I really need resources … people or documents to help me with this. I am thinking of buying a K10 Fast Express Pickup Truck and there are very few around. I am trying to figure out how authentic or original this one is. I don’t know what I am looking at and would really appreciate help and guidance here. Gary_Ash
I think a K10 Fast Express truck is a Studebaker, not a GMC product. Fast Express beds would not interchange with a 1937-39 Coupe Express truck.
Dave39MD
I have a 1977 K 10 but have never heard of a fast express or coupe express. I may have missed it so more info or a picture would help. I did not look through this but if they were made you should find it here; https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Chevrolet-Trucks/1977-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf . The link is for 1977 but you can find the site and pull up your year. Dave Edited December 1, 2020 by Dave39MD (see edit history)

My first google of K10 bought up the Chevy But now as an example https://bringatrailer.com/2017/01/28/one-of-100-1938-studebaker-k10-fast-express-pick-up/ I would have one http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com/studebakertruckhistory.asp
Dave39MD
Oh, now I see at least two vehicle manufactures made a K 10 truck. Obviously the Chevy stuff does not apply. Sorry for the confusion but it was posted in the Chevrolet forum. Dave Edited December 2, 2020 by Dave39MD (see edit history)
Ken Richmond
To be clear .. it is a Studebaker K10 ... years 38, 39 or 40.
