I would think that leather upholstery could be refurbished if you could find the correct color of conditioner, dye or whatever. Or am I wrong?

 

I was never a huge fan of the big mid-60's non-Imperial Chryslers, but the two door versions are really growing on me. Cool car.

My dad had a red one with a black top and interior. I LOVED driving that car. It was VERY nimble and fast for a large car.

You could condition the leather to slow the deterioration, but it's seen a lot of driveway time. I don't think there's much you can do with the cracks or sunburn on the seatbacks. The seller hasn't cleaned the car or done anything with the seats, so you could certainly improve appearance with a little work, and the asking price isn't too bad (if it's negotiable).

One of the best products recondition leather is Fiebling's Hide Food, works wonders to soften and preserve an interior like this one.    Like most 1960's cars, only the seating surfaces are leather, everything else vinyl.
