Charles in Shanghai
Dear reader, Any ideas what this could be? The wheel cap shows an emblem. Regards, Edited October 5, 2020 by Charles in Shanghai (see edit history)

Charles in Shanghai
Thank you NZcarnerd. Please compare with the photo of the 1921 Studebaker Big Six from Richard Quinn photo collection in "Wanted: Hubcap for 1922 Studebaker EK": the doors are smaller. Also, the hub caps of Studebakers of that era look different. Edited October 5, 2020 by Charles in Shanghai (see edit history)

I am not sure of the make of the wire wheels on this car but the caps will have been supplied with the wheels, and Studebaker may have put their own badge in it but not necessarily. I suggest you repost the photo in the Studebaker section and hopefully you will get a response from an owner of a similar car. Edit re the wheels - The Standard Catalog says they are Budd wheels. sagefinds
They look like the BUDD wheels that take the "picklefork" wrench that many Overlands used. It also looks like this car was converted from wood to wire as you can still see holes in the brake drum that were generally used to bolt rear wood spokes to the drum.
