1973 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe

• condition: good
• odometer: 68000
• paint color: blue
• Phenomenal condition for the year, extremely well kept, motor runs strong, ac blows cold, power steering is effortless, about 18 feet of pure joy to drive.
• This is a driver quality vehicle, it is not perfect. But dollar for dollar you will not find a better kept vehicle to add to the stable. Ask if you have questions.
• Odometer reads 68,xxx I cannot verify that that is the true miles as I have not been the only owner.

Very nice, but 70's era Eldorados are plentiful.  I used to hate these.  I thought the 71-78's were bloated and horribly followed the classic 1967-1970 era.  

 

But they grow on you as iconic and symbolic of the 70's excess.  In fact, they are well styled.    This one is a nice color, but not sure the white inserts are correct.  I'm no expert but have seen well over 500 of the 1970 Eldorados and have never seen a seating area in a different color.

I wondered about that too, Jake.  However, 

given luxury manufacturers' penchant for custom

orders, I think the two-tone interior is entirely

possible.

 

I have the 1973 dealer albums.  They don't mention

2-tone seats specifically, but a buyer could specify

the dashboard color to be different from the usual.

Cadillac allowed special-order paint colors.  In that era,

with Lincolns at least, one could special-order a

contrasting color for the piping of the seats.

So a buyer's making a special request is very possible.

I have seen these inserts in this model while I was younger in the mid-1970s. Not sure they were dealer installed however.

On 10/9, Seller deleted the Craigslist ad and ended the Ebay auction stating the car was no longer available.
