58L-Y8
For Sale: 1949 Packard Eight Deluxe 23rd Series - $8,000 - Marion, IA https://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/d/marion-1949-packard-classic-car/7196409709.html1949 Packard 2300 Series, Straight 8. 66,034 miles, forest green exterior with off white interior. Contact: no phone listed Copy and paste in your email: 39aad76c995734d0bb9604a18a33c3c5@sale.craigslist.org I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1949 Packard Eight Deluxe 23rd Series sedan. Note: Interested parties should note the Packard is manual shift though listed as automatic. When investigating, determining if it has overdrive would be a good idea. Overdrive makes these a nicely-mannered distance driver.
B Jake Moran
It's very cool. and close to me. But I am not interested. Overpriced. In the side angle, you see the Pregnant Elephant. I would opt for any number of better executed period cars, like the 49 New Yorker club coupe I posted, or step down Hudsons, or kaiser- Frazers. suchan
It's not a Cadillac or Lincoln style-wise, but at a fraction of what's asked for those cars, you get a big, comfortable, well-built driver. This is the golden era for newbies.
Jeff Perkins / Mn
I had a ‘48 and loved it, solid as a rock and smooth as silk. I still have seller’s remorse.......
