"Depends on the tasks of the motorist.
If the flashlight is used for car repair or troubleshooting on the road, you need hands-free and a headlamp with a diffused beam. Using batteries and an easily accessible AA type or a rechargeable flashlight with cigarette lighter charging is better. I b recommend looking on amazon. A powerful HID or LED spotlight will do well when it comes to off-road testing, where the flashlight is used for terrain orientation. You should choose a suitably sized model for a ""just in case"" flashlight that can replace a crowbar in an emergency situation.
