PWB
Greetings On a '73, is the rear window lower molding solid stainless? I have to ask because I see a on-line partial image of one that seems to be pitted as chrome does. Thanks much Paul

I have seen them where the chrome has faded, and pitted pretty good too. Edited August 10, 2020 by Rivman (see edit history)
PWB
Curse you - bean counters! So, I’d guess the adjacent door piece is “pot-luck” also.....
JZRIV
Speculating here but engineering probably chose pot metal due to the radical contour and limitations forming stainless. The door piece is stainless! Edited August 10, 2020 by JZRIV (see edit history)
John_S_in_Penna
I agree that the "bent" piece in question is chrome-plated pot metal. I had to have mine replated because they were faded. I agree, too, that the other pieces are stainless steel.
