1928 Chrysler Model 72 Roadster Body to Frame Bolts

How many were used, where did they go and what size were they.  I know odd questions but someone was overzealous with wood putty on the body skeleton and filled in most of the holes.....yikes!

Maybe you need to crawl under with a drop light. It might reveal an answer.

Great Idea and thank you.  I did that, but should I just assume because you see a hole in the top of the frame it was for a body bolt?

Ah, now I see the conundrum . I guess you could run a 1/8 drill bit through from the underside and see if it comes out in a fairly logical place. I would bet both sides would at least have the same amount  like maybe  4  on each side. Bodies in general have one in each corner, one on either side of the seat area, and  usually the same somewhere in the forward part of the trunk. Good luck.

Start at the front, 2 at front of cowl, 2  at  door hinge pillar, probably 2 at  door shut pillar, maybe 2 half way between the shut pillar and rumble seat floor and most likely 2 on the outside of frame just behind the rear axle(there is a bracket at this point).
