Norlan
I was driving on the highway when a all black beauty caught my eye, it’s build demanded my attention and admiration, I could see any badges on the side or back to give me an idea of what is it but I saw the plate had “antique car” on it and I’m hoping someone can help me out with just a butt shot lol.

TerryB
Monte Carlo design can be captivating. Compared to today’s cars it really stands out with the long front and short rear deck design. 1970 is my favorite.

My Brother had a '71 SS 454- a very understated car with a tiny "SS 454" emblem hidden in the rocker panel trim. The best feature on the first generation Monte Carlo with its extended snout was that fan shroud. If you were working on the engine, you could spread out your entire tool kit on it!
TerryB
I always wanted one like that, the SS emblems were very understated as you mentioned. I would take one over a Chevelle SS any day.
TerryB
The original poster showed the mid 80s model. I liked the Aero version of that one which is hard to find.
