studeboy
Does anyone still make these screws/ nail. They are the original fasteners for the running board aluminum trim pieces on my 1922 Light Six roadster. They fit in the grommeted holes. They have a slotted head but the slot does not extend to the outside of the head. They are threaded but with a pitch more like a body nail. I will attach some pictures. The pictures did not come out very clearly.
Mark Wetherbee
I would give Restoration Supply a call, I think it may be in their listing here: https://restorationstuff.com/shop/#fb0=
studeboy
I have already checked with them. They have nothing with the slotted screw head.
Stude Light
I looked around and could not find them. I saved my originals, straightened them, cleaned them up and re-plated them (copper, then nickel). Definitely a retentive move.
studeboy
Nice job on those screws. Unfortunately I only have about half as many as i will need. Many have been replace by nails. I will keep looking. Maybe someone have a jar of them tucked away. I will replate the ones I have.
