1937hd45
Is this a FITS-ALL or were they for specific cars/trunks/ tractors?
TexRiv_63
Looks very much like these universal Zenith - Bendix carbs.
carbking
Beginning about 1933 or so, Zenith RIVETED a round tag about the size of a dime to the casting. This tag would contain the Zenith identification number. If O.E., the tag would also contain the O.E. number. Since most commercial rebuilders "group" carburetors together to reduce inventory, tags are chiseled off if the carburetor is rebuilt by a commercial rebuilder. If the tag is present, very easy to identify. If the tag is missing very difficult to identify. Most aftermarket carbs did contain the adjustable metering jet, as does yours. Many O.E. applications ALSO contained the adjustable metering jet. Jon.
