PONTIAC1953 Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 i remember reading a story about 7 or 8 1949 or 1950 Oidsmobile sedan deliveries being built for each Olds assembly plants, a guy on facebook is telling me it's all B.S., i'd like to hear from someone who knows better than i do. Rusty_OToole Posted January 10, 2020 Share Posted January 10, 2020 Since the Olds 88 was built using the same basic body shell as Chevrolet and Pontiac, and Chevrolet had a sedan delivery, it wouldn't be difficult for the factory to put together a Chev body shell with Olds dash board, front fenders, hood, grille, trim etc and set it on an Olds 88 chassis.
