Ben, thanks for the correction, water pump inlet not on side of block. Owner just states removed from `36 Buick, I noticed the side-mounts right off, and the intake is also not `36, but has a front mount similar to `36.

Ben, you know I`m putting a `41 248 in my `36 coupe so I`ve learned in the process that I had to use a `36 front mount the `36 flywheel/p-plate/clutch and bell-housing. Also had to drill 2 new holes to match the block(for the top two bolts behind the flywheel).      As to Bob Stanley`s question I doubt anything would fit. In his other post he should check into the Pete Phillips offer.
