Bob Stanley
Hello; do you know if this '48-'49 motor will bolt-up to a '32 model 68? Thanks, Bob Stanley

I believe not a '50. What I see of the water pump looks like '49 or older. Could be wrong. Folks really should KNOW what they have. Ben

Owner just states removed from `36 Buick, I noticed the side-mounts right off, and the intake is also not `36, but has a front mount similar to `36. Ben Bruce aka First Born
Yeah, was not aiming at you, Tom. Just adding to was the intent. I did not realise the '36 front plate would mate to the '37 and later. Ben
pont35cpe
Ben, you know I`m putting a `41 248 in my `36 coupe so I`ve learned in the process that I had to use a `36 front mount the `36 flywheel/p-plate/clutch and bell-housing. Also had to drill 2 new holes to match the block(for the top two bolts behind the flywheel). As to Bob Stanley`s question I doubt anything would fit. In his other post he should check into the Pete Phillips offer.
