Hans1
Is your "Doodlebug" an actual vehicle? I have seen numerous doodle bugs made from T's, A's, Dodges, Essex's, various unidentifiable cars and trucks, even a bus. Mostly cut down to make farm tractors, tow truck's, pickup's and sightseeing jitneys. Can you provide more info, or pictures of yours?

JACK M
Isn't there a Doodlebug brand scooter? The parts OP seeks could be this, Drum on rear wheel, hand control and cable? There is an old guy around here someplace that repops these scooters. Although his shop was moved from where I knew several years ago. If my brain is still working I think they were "Doodlebugs" Edited May 1, 2019 by JACK M (see edit history)

Lynn Ward
Yes that's it but the picture looks a far cry from my Hiawatha Doodlebug that I've had for 64 years. I just found "The old guy" (Don Jackson) in Oregon. He sells parts for Doodlebugs. His email is don@doodlebugsyrmw.com and his company name is Yesterday Rides Metal Works. JACK M
Yea, that's the guy..... I shouldn't make the "old guy" references, but could be excused because I am one of them and some mannerisms are one of the things that we should be able to get away with.
