Guest
Another from AmeriCar. Someone there suggested Lincoln but I think not. Don't know year, make, or model... someone will know. Going through some VERY old photos that belonged to an elderly neighbor who passed away recently. Just thought this was a cool shot.
nzcarnerd
That looks to be Washington DC plate along with the other one - which I presume is a Maryland plate. Wiki says black numbers on yellow for 1923 Maryland plates, and white numbers on brown for DC 1923. I saw something a while back which said that regular commuters to DC had to have plates from both their own state and for DC. Car? - I have no idea. Looks to date from around 1920-23 - and relatively expensive. Probably one of the many odd makes that went bust in the early 1920s.
Mark Wetherbee
Rickenbacker, around 1926 I think... Definitely the square “Hat-In-Ring” radiator emblem.
nzcarnerd
Looks like Rickenbacker might be right but as it has 1923 plates on it the date is earlier. This one is 1922.

gwells
Windshield on OP better matches the Rickenbacker, also headlight bar, headlamps, and door shape. Rickenbacker is it IMO. It's a shame how few Rickenbackers remain. Don't recall the number, but it is quite small compared to the 35,000 plus cars produced.
