trackhound
Anybody out there with a vintage Borg and Beck catalog that might help identify this clutch? 30sclassics? The Type ends with GY......maybe and RGY? The Model starts with a 7....... This is not for a vehicle but a 1928 Cletrac crawler....was hoping some of you car guys might have some literature with the info. Thanks
jan arnett (2)
looks like the clutch in my 1923 MOON.
Grimy
And like the clutch in my 1925 Pierce Series 80 (the junior varsity Pierce). It's a bear to adjust: short screwdriver to hold flywheel at 12 o'clock with a prybar between the bolts to move the bolts clockwise within the slots. bob staehle
Grimy if you block the clutch pedal all the way down, the adjuster should turn with little to no effort. Bob
30sclassics
Borg & Beck type RGY was used for several vehicles between 1925 and 1932, including Pierce-Arrow, Federal, Henney, Sayers, American LaFrance, and Cletrac. Model 706 was used for 1926-1929 Cletrac Tractor Model A.
