multiple disc clutch

I do not believe this is a slip clutch. The square bits sticking out the back side fit into springs on the inside. It seems apparent that the clutch was forced against a surface that depressed these square bits allowing the shaft to turn freely. This mechanism was compressed between two surfaces to release the multiple clutches inside. I have a box of what appears to be new old stock transmission parts including main shafts and input shafts with this same square spline shaft.

There is a 1914 Warner transmission for sale in the HCCA parts for sale section that has the same spline detail as this clutch only this clutch uses a five spline shaft whereas the 1914 Warner used a four spline shaft. I don't really know what this is and I'm not claiming it is a Warner transmission part but it has value to somebody and I would like for them to have it.
