Help ID this wheel/rim

Hello.

 

I recently acquired this wheel with the intent to display in the man cave. The person I purchased it from says it's a 1939 Plymouth. I would like to buy a hubcap for it, so I'm trying to figure out if this is infact for '39 Plymouth or not?

I think your wheel is any Chrysler product from years about 37-48. They used lug bolts instead of nuts and some of them had left hand threads. The extra hole is for a guide pin to help you mount it. Here is the 39 Plymouth

Yes on the MoPar. I had a '41 Plymouth with those rims.

Now to find a decent hubcap. Some of the eBay prices are nuts. I just need one.

What year hubcap are you looking to put on it? I might have a cap that works.

Not exactly sure. I've been poking around eBay a bit. Anything that looks decent so I can put it up on the wall. I'm thinking late '30s era? But anything will do as long as it is decent. What you have available?

I am not positive yet, but I think the back of the hubcap has to look like this?

I have a 1951 Plymouth small cap that should fit on the clips. It's NOS, still in the orig bag.

I believe so, it's been in storage for a while. It does have red paint in the center.
