Hubert_25-25
Ron, This does not show the parking brake, but someone was kind enough to post these and I made copies.
Terry Wiegand
Hugh, I owned a 1928 Willys-Knight Model 56 Coach for 32 years. The brakes on that car equalized from side to side and from front to back. The system looked very similar to what is shown in what you posted here. That car was half again as big as an A Model Ford and noticeably heavier too. The brakes worked very well on that car. The chassis engineering on Willys-Overland vehicles was quite good for the time. Hubert_25-25
Leif, This is a nice description of the order to adjust the brakes. Do you have steps 1-12? Interesting procedure to adjust the hand brake. Thank you, Hugh Edited February 20, 2018 by Hubert_25-25 (see edit history)
