Lawrence Helfand
Does anyone know a supplier of original Buick carpet reproduced with all the bonded rubber details? I have not found anything for my 41 Century and see most restored cars with incorrect carpet so thinking maybe it does not exist. Looks difficult to reproduce. Gary W
Did you call / search LeBaron Bonney? That's where I got my interior kit for my '37.

Thanks Gary, They did not have anything on the site so I did give them a call to find they only sell sets with a bound edging whereas the 41 Buicks had a rubberized edge that covered the attaching flange of the alloy threshold as well as the rubberized under dash upper section and pedal area guard. And due to its complexity there is nothing for a 41 model available from them.
Morgan Wright
Leave the original carpeting. New carpeting is like adding arms to Venus DeMilo.
Buicknutty
I had the same issues. I could not get the original colour and proper style for my '41 Roadmaster. My car was in very poor shape when I got it, and it was an "all or nothing" kind of situation. So, I have a new, though incorrect, carpet. I really needed a carpet, and this one wasn't too expensive, and would be simple to upgrade later on, so I went with it. One possibility would be to contact Doug Seybold in the Cleveland area, as he has restored many of these cars, and perhaps he has an answer.
