any one   have  information on how to research a vin number   car  fax as no information

If you are looking for owner and service history, CarFax should have what you want.

However, if CarFax does not have info, the car may have been in the hands of a dealer who never had it titled.....so there will be no record until the dealer sells it. 

The other possibility is it could be one of the Reatta that Buick donated to mainly tech schools.......in that case, the cars were not sold and GM held a Michigan scrap title.

a small number of these cars have slipped thru the cracks and made it on the road.......the caution here is.....GM still owns the car. 

You may have the car and a title, but if GM does not want it on the road, you will loose.

Looks like you have a Select 60. According to the build sheets that I decoded for Barney, It was originally awarded to Wilkie Chevrolet - Buick in Philadelphia, PA

that it was awarded to a dealer in PA makes sense,  the little amount on the car fax shows it was in a  Philadelphia auto auction earlier this year before coming to Indiana where I bought it,

Where are you in Indiana.......I lived in Frankfort and seem to get back there every year for something.

We have Reatta owners spread all over the state.

The lack of CarFax info would lead me to believe the car has been in a dealers possession for some time and they carry it as inventory (used car?) so it was not titled.

That was the case with my Select 60. It was held in dealer inventory for years and driven with dealer plates. No CarFax history until it was sold at auction in 1994.
