Mine too. Used to play with my son, now my grandson on the same layout that my son and I played on.  Ton of fun.

It didn't take me long to realize that to my grandson there's a huge difference between "playing with trains" and "model railroading".  If anyone is interested, I've got a whole lot of NIB and NOS HO gauge "model railroading" stuff I'd like to get rid of - complete trains, buildings, track, you name it.

I've got a fair amount of toy trains (primarily pre-war Lionel).  I've got nothing to do with model railroading.

 

And to tie this into cars...  This engine was sprayed with the same paint (Rustoleum 7777) that JZRiv used under the hood of his Riv.

Did anybody catch the body production number on the 1953 Skylark's Body by Fisher Number Plate?

First year of the Skylark.....1690 were built.
