Pitalplace
I have these brackets cleaned up and noticed one is missing the spring. Would they possibly be available or do I need to try to replace the whole bracket? I should add that this out of a 34 truck. Thanks Edited November 19, 2017 by Pitalplace (see edit history)

Pitalplace
I found these for $21.95, They are called door-lock-latch spring. Is it possible the the driver door that does not have a lock even need a spring? https://www.ebay.com/itm/NORS-DOOR-LOCK-LATCH-SPRING-1932-41-MOPAR-DESOTO-DODGE-REMOTE-CONTROL/331057893926?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D49476%26meid%3D48b4ad2cd7c44e729fc0a9aeb2759cf7%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D332239977097&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m2219
knobless
Yes those are the springs, few dollars more than I remember, but isn't everything, yes they both need springs , that's why you see some handles droop, broken or missing springs,

jpage
Restoration Specialties in Pa might have those springs but they will need a sample to compare. Their number is 814-467-9842 and hours are 9-5 eastern time.

Pitalplace
Replaced the spring today. I loosened the tabs on one side, well they both broke off, and got the spring in. There was enough tab still sticking through the hole that I just spot welded and ground back smooth. It worked very well so that is done.

Most of the time the tabs do break off, that's why I started making replacement spring keepers""" at least you were able to save yours,

I have the other spring so I think I will do the other side. I would like one of your brackets. Sent you a PM Thanks Byron
