Check your parts to see if you have the driver side 1925 latch without the handle sticking up.

Glad you told me I was wondering witch style to use I have a few that need glass beading & paint  the inside leather backing I will make next .

hysol glue  is what I might use on the ''lead'' corner  or now that I know I need to make it just make a form  and press some out to tig weld in place

Kyle:

Yes that is the striker plate. Remember the door handle shaft goes through the door and has a spline to accept the inside handle.

Kyle :

I have gone thru the copies of the Master Book of Parts and have not found any thing that looks like the serrated piece and the long bolt. All the other items are familiar door hardware. I made new bumpers from softer rubber I got from Hugh. It works great.

Today it is super hot almost 100 deg. so this summer I added a new face in my- living room , garage, hobby-room.  It is powered to rotate while on, I have a lot of coolers and this one is sure to be my #1 and is super quiet you could still hear a pin drop in the room while it is running .2139944712_20180611_184000_HDR-11.jpg.53912cd2934cadfada5212395a12c37e.jpg

Been reading sligermachine forums wood topics. I have a 26 Buick Standard 4dr and like everyone else the wood is bad. You mentioned that you had paper patterns. I’m hoping the bottom body frame and cowl patterns would work for my sedan. Most of the rear body is intact and I can copy that. Do you think you could help or know anyone who could. Be happy to buy patterns it would sure make it easier. This was my dads car he bought in 63. My name is Herb. Thanks
