Roger Thomas
I removed the car top. I pushed the button for the tonneau release and there is a loud click but nothing happens. The owners manual indicates there is a wire in the trunk that can be pulled to release the locks manually. Looking at the spot indicated there is nothing to pull. So I am stuck I can't get the tonneau cover up so that I can raise the cloth top. Please reply with any ideas that might help this situation. Thank you. Did you Bill? Now everyone knows where to find the tonneau cover releases. Everyone try to remember. Don't come here today it's 121F outside. Bill Reichert
If you recall, (heehee) I was there last summer. I might come back in the winter sometime. I have a neighbor that only pulls the cord when one of his biplanes loses power. That's if he has enough altitude. He is about your age..... Garnet & Gold
Roger I am on vacation and don't have access to anything but my cell. Be careful as the painted part of the J hook mechanism is pot metal and if you break it it cannot be repaired. Garner & Gold
