captndan
I need a throw out bearing for a 1926 Chrysler model 58. Nobody seems to have one or even know what it is. Please help. Thanks, Dan
ArticiferTom
You should be able to get the number off existing . Look at through access clutch cover ,is on edge very small , If trouble locating, see Tayormade 's thread on Daphne . Then you can find a cross on SFK bearing site .

28 Chrysler
The clutch release bearing assembly is # 41208 and it looks like it was used in most of the early Chryslers starting with the Model Gs

Crosses to Timken N441. Could this be the one for the 1926 Chrysler?
28 Chrysler
More than likely. My book only lists Chryslers not Plymouth s. The part was used into the early 1930s.

He said he would research the bearing and call me back today (yesterday) or the day after. He called back within the hour. Nice guy to talk to and best of all he said he had two of the bearings. Also it would go in the mail today. This has probably ended a frustrating two week search. Thank You George!
