Guest Gatsby707 Posted June 28, 2017 Posted June 28, 2017 High Beams work. Day time running work till dusk .tailighrs work . Could be light control module. Anyone know where its located on this vehicle
Digger914 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 The body control module is under the dash and a 95 should be on the drivers side, could also be behind the glove box, if you know what it looks like you will know it when you see it. Lights also run through the front electrical center which is under the hood and you have two more fuse centers inside the cabin that feed the BCM and a bad BCM usually gives you more trouble that no headlights. As you're asking where the light module is I have to assume that you've already eliminated both switches, fuses, relays and broken wires. Before you go off to buy a new BCM, take a look inside the front electrical center, mice can get in there and they do chew on wires.
JACK M Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Before you do a lot of digging, check the bulbs. Don't ask me how I thought of this. 1
Larry Schramm Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Is there a relay in the system? I think there might be. Swap with another relay in the system if so equipped.
Frank DuVal Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Ditto on checking the bulbs. Low beams are bright enough that if all you do is city driving, you never notice the first low beam filament out. Then the second one fails. Hey, it's dark! Seen it twice in my repair shop days. Hmm, dimmer switch good, voltage out when in low beam. Hmm, voltage at headlamp socket when in low beam....
