Linus Tremaine Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Does anyone know what year this chalmers might be? Thanks
nzcarnerd Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Looks more complete than this one - http://barnfinds.com/rare-and-bare-1918-chalmers-motorcar/ - which is probably around the same era.
keiser31 Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) Looks like a 1917 by the look of the lower windshield frame. The 1918 and later are taller at the bottom section. The "1918" in the link has windshield posts that are exposed at the cowl. I don't think that one is a 1918 Chalmers. The Chalmers has no exposed windshield mounting posts. kbeach Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Picture of the engine would help. 1916 - 17 would have side draft carburetor on the passenger side 1918 and later would be updraft on the driver's side.
