Oregon Desert model 45
NOT MINE REPOSTED FROM CRAIGSLIST 1930 Buick truck - $2500 (Kunkletown) https://poconos.craigslist.org/cto/6121892537.html (570) 234-7265
michaelod
Must be some kind of conversion as Buick did not build a truck in 1930. A good parts car however if the price is negotiable. Thanks,
Buickborn
If this was a conversion, someone did an impressively good job, judging by the back side of the cab. Is it not possible that Buick did build a few trucks, perhaps for dealer use, as did makers of some other non-truck marques? Could this have been a tow truck? Particularly puzzling are the wheels: certainly truck style -- not wood, not wire . . . but with an apparent special-edition Buick hubcap to match? (Also, the apparently drop-center wheels appear to be too small to have been simply leftovers from an earlier design -- as do the brake drums.) Who besides Buick would have supplied these hubcaps? Interesting item . . .
gfw2
I could be wrong but the back of the truck looks very similar to a 34 ford pick up. Edited June 2, 2017 by gfw2 (see edit history)
jbbuick22
I think GMC used that engine for a while. John 22-6-55 Sport touring
