Pete Phillips
Can someone help me identify this front fender? It is brand new, found in a deceased friend's storage bin, and I cannot identify it. He owned a 1949 Mercury, 1947 Chevrolet, and a 1948 Lincoln, but I don't think this is any of those. All help appreciated. kbeach
Looks like 47 - 48 Chevrolet.
Pete Phillips
kbeach, many thanks. That makes sense, since he owned one of those. I really appreciate your help and knowledge. I'm a Buick guy, not a Chevrolet guy. Pete
Dave Mellor NJ
Here's a 47. I don't see that ridge on the top of the headlight opening and the vertical indent for the grille doesn't match
keiser31
The "ridge" that you see is on the SIDE of the fender, not the top.
keiser31
Try looking at it this way....looks like a match to the Chevrolet fender to me. Edited May 4, 2017 by keiser31 (see edit history)
