BuickBob49
A friend is restoring a 1936 Buick Special. The front brake cylinders are shot and beyond repair. Does anyone have a good source for new cylinders? Thanks!
Guest buickguyflint
The Cylinder sizes for all except Limited series can be replaced with standard sizes of one inch and inch and 1/8. as the later model years of Buicks also used the same sized master cylinders. I am always happy to buy new factory replacement cylinders instead of placing my braking confidence in cylinders that are old and rebuilt. FLYER15015
OR, you could send them out to "Karp's" rebuilding service in Upland California and have them sleeved with 304 stainless tubing. Did mine 5 years ago and still good.........
