Oakand Identification

[57 Eldo Seville]

The back of this picture of my grandmother Edna Morris (Simmons) identifies the car as an Overland.  Can someone identify the model year?

It is an Oakland, not an Overland. Note the hubcaps which are very similar in style to those on Buicks. Could be anywhere from 1917 to 1920, they didn't change styling much in that era.

If you mean the car in the photo here, look closely. There are 2 oval rear windows.

Yes, I noticed the double oval windows. My comment was poorly worded and could be easily misinterpreted.  I considered "Overland" as  "subject"  in the context of 57 Eldo Seville's wording.

Hello.

I have both an 18 and a 19 Oakland.  I lean toward it being a 1919.  They visually were very similar, but there are a couple of quirky items in your picture that are like my 19.

It also could be a 1916 model 37.  The cowl shape looks a little like a 37 but the dual rear windows may mean sensible six.There seems to be very little difference in their appearance.
