Guest brodrick
Hi all, I'm completely new to this and honestly overwhelmed with info. I just recently inherited 3 cars from my late grandfather 1906 to 1912. All have been on loan to a museum in Heber Springs, AR til recently. One of which (from researching his PC,) is a 1906 Brush package cart? His claim is that it is one of three in existence. I want to know if there is any truth to the claim, given that I've only found the original Brush Company to have operated from 1907 to 1909. I'm 30 now and I remember rebuilding the car with him and a few others, but I was only 10 at the time. Still amazing memories, and great insight into the internal combustion engine. Any information would be appreciated and I'm happy to share pictures upon request. brodrick1009@outlook.com. If any of you might have known my grandfather (Louis T. Brodrick) please contact me. Nash34
I don't know much about Brush automobile. I know the Brush group sets up a booth at the Chickasha, OK swap meet every year. There always seems to be a good group around the table telling stories and letting people know about the Brush Company. Hopefully we'll see on a tour with you grandfather's brush. caddyshack
I have seen many Brush autos including 1907 thru 1912, but never a 1906 model. Not to say it does not exist, just never heard of one. A picture posted here would really help. Include a photo of the engine compartment also. The Brush Owners Association has gone through some major changes this past year, but some of its members have been very helpful with documenting various years and model classifications. The HCCA also has a forum that is very useful. Good luck, keep us posted.
tomcarnut
Their are a few around the country used on 1 and 2 cylinder tours like the New Brighton to New London tour in Minn and the Lancing to Dearborn run. I believe their is picture of the 2016 run somewhere with Paul Schaffer from Valley City, Ohio near Cleveland driving his Brush. He is an expert on these types of cars. You may want to try and track him down. Sorry I do not have his phone number. Tom Muth Cincinnati, Ohio
AC Fuhrman
Try the AACA Library or the AACA Museum (museum has a 1910 Brush that belonged to an old friend of mine.)
