Rich Janouskovec
Does anyone know of someone who repairs this style tire gauge. the rubber seat in the end that goes on the valve stem no longer seals. It is hard and cracked
wldavis
Rich, You should be able to find locally an "O" ring or if the seal is more the shape of a cylinder, some rubber (clear or black) hose that would repair this at very little cost.
RPrice
Your gauge looks almost identical to the Model A Ford tire pressure gauge. I wonder if it was made by the same company. Just wondering. Rog
nickelroadster
I would get a piece of round rubber (At for example Restoration Supply) and use a lathe to turn a new one. A person without a lathe could probably use a drill press and do the same.
Guest GT52
You might take a look at some new gages the next time you're at a parts store. You may be able to find one with a similar seal, that you could use to "rebuild" your old gage.

RPrice
Sounds good to me. It does make a lot of sense. Rog
Rich Janouskovec
Thanks to all. The tire gauge is made by US gauge, they made them for a number of manufacturers and some generic with just US gauge on them. I wasn't sure if someone that did instrument (dash gauges)repair could check this out either. It's a nice piece and I didn't want to ruin it.
