Pete Phillips Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) I've been contacted by a woman in Tucson, AZ who wants to donate her 1978 Riviera coupe to anyone who will get it running and restore it. It has been sitting outside for seven years. Here are a few more details from her: I got the title out and I stand corrected she ( I refer to the car as Bertha) is actually a 1978 with a 403 engine. The car is complete. It stopped working about 7 years ago and my daughters boyfriend was working on electrical issues, they broke up and the work was never done. She was parked outside for the last 7 years.Pack rats have eaten more of the wiring. I live in Tucson AZ and so there is no snow,harsh weather. But the sun has done damage to the paint and interior is cracked.There is only very minor rust. The mileage on the car is about 60-80 thousand. Again I want to donate this to anyone who might want to breathe new life in her. Any help is greatly appreciated.
