I think it's a 1947 model. Photo is not dated. Doesn't appear the car isa total loss. capngrog Posted June 25, 2016 Share Posted June 25, 2016 It looks like the hood ornament is a 1948. The car shown in Post #1 is an excellent example of how texting and driving don't mix. I'll bet that the vintage of the car was not the only thing on the owner's mind as he contemplated the remains of his "Luxe" ride. Was insurance available back then?
