1924 Oldsmobile 3 tourer wich battery?

Hello,

 

I have a 1924 Oldsmobile 30 tourer and I was wondering wich battery is recomended for this vehicle and wheter it is a postive or negative ground.

The car in the picture is earlier than 1924 and is not a model 30.  Most Olds are negative ground but I would get a manual and check it.

If Oldsmobiletoure does have a model 30, here is a wiring diagram that shows negative ground:

That's actually really strange. Actually it's my boss's car. And it is the exact car in the picture. The paperwork of the car also says 1924 Oldsmobile 30 tourer.

The wiring diagram shows it too be negative ground.

If the battery is out of normal sight such as under the floorboards I would recommend the Optima battery.

Much better than the old wet cell batteries.
