24 Roadster
My engine side firewall and hood are painted tan the same as the body. Is this right? I think I have seen others that the engine side of the firewall and hood are black. Which is correct? Thanks,24 Roadster
Spinneyhill
I would expect body colour. Why would they mask off the firewall to paint it black? These cars were made down to a price.
nearchoclatetown
Some models, like my Fisher coupe, had the hood and cowl painted black. I believe roadsters would be body color, which in '24 would be black. Just reread this and it may be confusing. My Fisher coupe is blue with black fender, hood and cowl. I THINK all roadsters in '24 were black. Maybe Dave or Rodger will jump in. Edited March 9, 2016 by nearchoclatetown (see edit history)

I assume the original poster has a '24 Dodge which was built prior to Chrysler's acquisition of the company so I haven't a clue what might have been done on that car. But if it were, say, a '33 Dodge I'd be pretty sure the firewall should be black. Edited March 9, 2016 by ply33 (see edit history)
