As I'm sure you know, these things can go for stupid money sometime, especially if two people are wanting the same set.

Typical sell price has leveled out at around $100 a set though. May be tough to get anyone to split up a set but since I see it will be going to a good home, I'll pick you out a good easy restore one for $35?

Let us hear about that Roadmaster!!! She sure looks cold.

Thanks, I'll send you and PM with my US address. Just give me the total, Paypal ok?

This coupe still have CA black plates from Fresno, last year on the sticker is 1968 - but I don't know for sure. All new green dotted interior before leaving US. I have been working a little just to get it running, but i am not going to restore the car yet. Motor mounts and DF pads in pieces so the driveline was moving back/forth. Cleaned the fuel system, rebuildt fuel pump, got brakes working, changed the original (?? - well the old style) DF oil, Freeze plug behind starter - that's the one we all are familiar with I guess. A broken accelerator pedal and a shock link missing one bolt. Since I have the 1954-72R too, all these parts were on the shelf, but must have sold the extra spark plug cover once. I parted a 1954-52 in the 80's to get a new roof for the Roadmaster.

That is weird. I have two unmatched driver's side covers as well. Great shape, too.

i may need to get em on eBay so Lamar doesn't over saturate the market with pairs.

:)

Good thing Lamar is a nice guy, he's like the OPEC of buick parts..... the power to swing markets!

Hell I screwed the deal with Tom up royally. Sent him the wrong side. I had taken a pair and held them out in front of me and said THIS is the right side and made sure which one I was sending and STILL managed to get the wrong one to him.

I wasn't high or nothing. And it was shipped across the pond!!  I think I ended up just refunding his money and told him to keep the cover.

These like everything else continue to get scarcer and higher priced. I hate selling on eBay and will sell for 20-30% less just to keep from it. It's not uncommon to see these selling in the range of $150 for easy to restore ones these days.

Now if that was my auction they wouldn't have gone nowhere near that of course.
