               10 collector cars ave. 78.4 years

 

have you priced a fully loaded pu lately?????????????? Ya, it cost more than my 06 Vette.

My daughter and her husband just bought a 2016 Ford Excursion that listed for over $68,000 Bought in conjunction with a new Box truck for his business so she did not pay anywhere near that but still...  My 80 Volare sure looks good now.

I used to just think my 78 Ford F150 was just a late model modern truck, all of a sudden I realize its 38 years old. I still don't treat it as a collector truck because when I use it its because the job demands a real truck. My 38 Buick gets used almost daily, I use it anytime I'm not in a rush and driving it seems to make whatever the chore is that requires driving to is made more enjoyable. We have a 2011 Ford Ranger we use when we don't care what we drive and just want to get there.

This year my wife and I each bought a new car.  We also have 4 antiques.  Average age, 6 cars, 69.7.  You do the math.
