65 Gran Sport in Barrett-Jackson

There is a 65 Gran Sport on the docket at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas this week. Also a black 63. Here is the link to the 65.

I will be down there to actually see the car.  In the pics I see the trunk lock is broken but otherwise looks like a good car

Note that this car was recently sold by the Imperial Palace Auto Collection.  It is still on their web site but says "sold" in the description.  Why is it being flipped so fast?

I took the link to the full docket of cars consigned to the auction and scrolled quickly through the thumbnail pictures of all the cars.

 

Judging from the backgrounds of the photos, the six guys whom have consigned cars might not develop strong ties to their cars.

 

The white board fence showed up so many times I thought, wait that building looks familiar, too; and that wooded grove; geez, same parking lot.
