Guest fourstrokin
I have a second set of doors that came with my 28 Dodge Victory 6 Four Door sedan. They have a similar styling feature on them, but they are 3 inches wider than the ones on the car (29.5" vs. 26.5"). Any idea what they could be?Thanks! Bob Zetnick
The moldings still look like a Victory 6...maybe just different bodies like a wider door for the coupe vs. the sedan?
keiser31
Maybe 1929 Victory Six is a little different dimension-wise. I have heard something about that in the past. Edited July 28, 2015 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Guest fourstrokin
Thanks for the info Keiser. In my pile of parts there is an old hand written letter from the 70's between a guy back east and the person I bought the car from. I skimmed it late one night and do recall seeing something about a later versus earlier Victory being different. I didnt know which parts they were talking about since I have a ton that came with the car and it's in peices. You may have nailed it.
2251DB
Try 27/28 senior six ,the trim inside the door around the window is slightly different to mine in AUS

RWPerry
They are definitely not Senior Six Model 2249 doors. I have just been working on one of my front doors and it is not at all similar.
Guest fourstrokin
Appreciate the info guys. One comment is that bot the front and rear are 29 1/2" versus the 26 1/2" doors on my Victory. So both doors are wider, not just the fronts.
JACK M
I ran onto this when I needed one cover that is along the top where you drop the glass in.Of course the first one that I found was the wrong one. I think I still have the incorrect cover on the shelf. It is the shorter one as I to assume that I have the longer doors.

I know the covers you mean, two are missing from this set. Do you have a 29 Victory Six?
2251DB
The senior six sedan has all steel fire wall , centre pillars and doors ,the rear section has a wood frame The exterior pattern is the same ,the internal frame has vertical middle piece not a cross pattern as shownIt was only a suggestion 2251DB
