Graham Man Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Can I put in one more theory... 1936 Hotchliss rear end and 1936 Delage front end. I think the car was in an accident and was put together with two cars. The only rear end that fits is the 1936 Horchless (look specifically at the lines between the trunk, fender and roof). The only hood vents that are correct are the Delage. It was not unusual to just use junk yard parts to put you car back together especially in the post war years, not to mention labor and craftsmanship were easier to find. DAVE A Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Found a picture of a 1936 Delage 4 door (D I 12 pillarless)and there are a striking number of similarities. the trunk section is decidedly different but the wheels, door shape etc are all very similar.
