stooy
These guys can make one for you but you would need a sample or very accurate details of what you want. https://www.flexibledrive.com.au/
Bullfrog_eng
Not sure where you are located, but I am getting a new cable for my DA made by "SA Auto Instrument Repairs", at Strathalbyn, South Australia. Can give more details if required, but the bloke made an interesting observation. He is repairing my speedo as well, and pointed out the speedo drive "socket" in the speedo is warn and said he will make the new cable oversize to suit.John
Spinneyhill
Just to look behind your question... Did the old cable break because the speedo nipped up on it? In other words, is the speedo free to turn when you put the new cable in? These die cast speedo bodies swell as they age and nip up on the shaft. Guest Barry B
The cable that came with the car was no good. The speedometer was rebuilt by Reynolds speedometer and is set at zero. He did a fine job if anyone is interested his phone number is 239 643-4103
