I never had a Jag that didn't have an oil pressure guage, either individual or a combo with the water temperature guage but then only had one with a synchro first gear. Idiot light sounds like something from the Ford period.

 

First one was in 1963 and last one (a flat floor E-type) was in 1974. Collected a lot of autocross trophys particularly on road courses. One time at IRP was going through the pylons faster than the chase 'vette that didn't. Still have Whitworth wrenches & a Uni-Syn.
