Greenfield Village

Recommended Posts

I have been looking at the videos on YouTube of the Greenfield Village Old Car Meet they host in Sept. I see a lot of very nice early brass of all makes of manufacture and 20s and 30s Chevys Buicks Fords and Dodge type cars. But what I do not see are the big classic era cars. This would be a fabulous event to attend. Anyone attended this event and seen classic era cars there or am I looking at the wrong videos???

Not many big classics at the old car festival, more like genuine "Antique" cars. There are some big classics at the Motor Muster. If you want to see a lot of big classics find out when the Michigan Region of the CCCA has their Grand Classic (sometime in June) at either the Dearborn Inn or Greenfield Village.

Both the Old Car Festival and Motor Muster are amazing shows. They do get some Auburns, Cords, Deusenburgs as well as some other European cars there. Both shows have a larger turn out of big 3 iron. I have been showing a car at Motor Muster for the last 6 years and do the Old Car Festival with my Uncle and his Model A's for the past 8 years or so. If you haven't gone I'd highly recommend coming out. Motor Muster is Fathers Day weekend June 20-21 http://www.thehenryford.org/events/motorMuster.aspx and the Old Car Festival is September 12-13 http://www.thehenryford.org/events/oldCarFestival.aspx
