coOverwatch
Hi all, funny thing happened to me on my way home from getting tires this weekend. a 1964 Buick Riviera followed me home.body is pretty straight, rusted floor on the passenger side. 425 motor. interior is going to need a little work.I don't know a thing about Riviera's as I have worked on Fords and Chevy's so after a few Google searches I found this site.not looking to do a frame off resto, just some suspension work and clean her up. look forward to anyone pointing me to "Must Reads" on this site.will post pics ASAPGreg

28 Chrysler
Riviera is one of the nicest cars GM made.Did the tires you were getting come with the Buick attached ?
coOverwatch
i was getting tires for a 2010 escape when the Riviera pulled in on a flat bed. he was getting tires on it to help it sell. Once the tires were put on the Buick I talked him down in price and had him drop it off at the house.

coOverwatch
Yes it did. If they all could be that easy.here are some pics from the phone. will get some more from a better camera once I get it into the shop. Have to finish putting a lift on the 90 suburban I have been working on. also need to move some things around so I can keep the 48 Willy's in there while I start removing the interior.Score #2 - had the 1964 shop manual inside. coOverwatch
Okay. got most of the interior stripped out and found more rust. Read that the front and rear windows usually leaked so I need to pull those as I can see where water had come in.Having trouble with the rear electric quarter windows. passenger side will move but the Driver side not at all. is there any write ups on how to remove the window? I heard there was a spring in there that could cause some damage to fingers if you were not careful.
